Manage Data Analytics Searches
Once the Look-Alike, Summary or Enhanced Look-Alike report is completed, you can start a data analytics search, which is a regular InfoBase ListDirect search containing the records found on the basis of your uploaded customer file. A data analytics search has preselected geographical and demographic selections, which you can modify the same way as regular searches.
The only peculiarity is that the data analytics searches cannot be treated like the complex searches (Merge/Purge and Cross List Matching, Query Builder), and cannot be shared with other users.
1 On the Options tab, click the Data Analytics button.
2 On the Data Analytics pane, click one of the following options, depending on the report type:
• Look-Alikes
• Enhanced Look-Alike Reports
3 Click Previous Look-Alike Reports or Previous Enhanced Look-Alike Reports correspondingly.
4 Find the particular report you are interested in, and in the Action column, click Start Search.
5 If you selected the Enhanced Look-Alike Report, on the Export Enhanced Look-Alike to Search page select one of the following options:
• Best Performers. A combination of attributes that showed the highest market penetration in your customer file. It is a portrait of your best customer. Prospects that match this criteria have the highest propensity to convert into a customer.
• Undecided Prospects. A combination of attributes that showed low market penetration in your customer file. It is a portrait of your less active customer. However, it may provide new marketing opportunities by enabling you to adjust the message for your campaign and target prospects in your underdeveloped market segments.
6 After you click Start Search, the data analytic search main workspace area is displayed with the geographic and demographic selection included to the search.
To get more records in your data analytics search, select a wider geography or clear the demographic selections you are not particularly interested in.
1 On the Options tab, click the Data Analytics button.
2 On the Data Analytics pane, click Data Analytics Searches.
The Data Analytics Searches page contains the following information about all the searches:
• Search number
• Report number
• List on which the search was run
• Search description, either default or entered by you
• Number of records in the search
• Date when the search was made
To sort your previous searches by search number, report number, number of records, and date, click the corresponding column name.
To rerun your search and make changes to it, click the Modify/Rerun link.
When you rerun a search, a copy of the search with a new search number is created. The original search is not overwritten.
To delete a search, in the Del column select the check box for the search you want to delete and click the Delete selected file(s)link at the bottom of the page.
