Order Output Components
InfoBase ListDirect order consists of the following components:
• File with information about the prospects to contact. Can have different extensions, depending of the output format specified when placing an order. For more information, see File Formats. File name can be interpreted the following way:
• Data Dump for first ten and last ten records of PO (Purchase Order) number. Filename is AXXXXXXX_1_AB_dump.
• Files containing information about the order layout specified during order placing. Filename is AXXXXXXX_1_AB_lay. There are usually two files: text file and HTML file.
• SCF report and State Summary Report. Filename is AXXXXXXX_1_AB_rpt.
• Code description file. Filename is AXXXXXXX_1_AB_code_description. File contains meanings of the order selections expressed by different symbols for space saving purposes. For example, instead of trying to fit a large selection option name in the order output field, they are represented in letters or figures, the meaning of which is described in the code description file. Consider the following example of the code description file:
• NCOA (National Change of Address) report maintained by the US Postal Service with new addresses of those who have recently moved and notified the post office of their new address. The presence of this report means that the current order records have been matched against the NCOA file and updated accordingly. Filename can be interpreted the following way:
• CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) report. This form may be generated as the output of address matching processing using CASS certified software in conjunction with current USPS Address Database Files. Filename can be interpreted the following way:
• (Optional) Phone Notice containing some additional legal information about organizing your marketing company.
• If postal presort was selected while placing the order, the order output includes the following presort documents necessary for USPS:
• USPS Drop Shipment Document Form 8125 used to prove to the entry facility that the mail being presented by the mailer or mailer's agent was verified and paid for at origin.
• Postage Statement 3602 used for regular Standard Mail prices.
• Mail Sort Listing shows how Presort has placed mail pieces into packages and containers.
• Job Summary is a reiteration of how you set up your job.
• USPS Qualification Report contains information about the class of mail, rates claimed and number and content of all trays/sacks created, plus a summary report with the total number of pieces mailed at each rate.
