Sharing Searches and Orders

You can make a specific search or order available to other users within your company. When you share your search or order, the system copies it and its details, and loads a copied version in the Previous Searches or Previous Orders list of the other user, who can then view it when he logs in. However, this feature restricts the person to whom a search or an order was shared from sharing it again to other users.

Share Search

1           On the Options tab, click the Previous Searches button.

2           On the Searches page in the Action column, click View/Order next to the search you want to share.

3           Click the Share Search button.

4           (Optional) Select the company the user you are searching for belongs to by typing full or partial company name in the Quick Finder box and clicking Search, or by clicking Show All. Select the company you are interested in from the Available Companies list and click the arrow button to move your selection to the Selected Companies list. To move all companies displayed, click the double-arrow button.

5           Select the user you are going to share the search with by typing full or partial user name in the Quick Finder box and clicking Search, or by clicking Show All. Select the user from the Available Users list and click the arrow button to move your selection to the Selected Users list. To move all users displayed, click the double-arrow button.

To make multiple selections of company and user names, press and hold the CTRL key in your keyboard.

6           Click Set Filter.

Use the Hide previous filter selections option to hide the users and companies you have just shared the search with. Note that the option is only available within a current session.

Share Order

1           On the Options tab, click the Previous Orders button.

2           On the Orders page in the Order # column, click the order you want to share.

3           Click the Share Order button.

Select the company you are interested in from the Available Companies list and click the arrow button to move your selection to the Selected Companies list. Select the user from the Available Users list and click the arrow button to move your selection to the Selected Users list. To move all users displayed, click the double-arrow button.
