Congressional district is an electoral constituency that elects a single member of a congress. There are 435 congressional districts in the United States House of Representatives, each one representing approximately 600,000 people. 3-digit numeric codes are used to represent the Congressional districts of each multi-district State of the United States. For example, the First Congressional District is identified as "001", the Second Congressional District as "002", and so on.
