State
You can search for leads within the boundaries of a state or several states.
You can limit the results of your search to records containing ZIP+4 information within the states that you specified. For more information, see Order Only Records with ZIP+4.
1 On the Geography tab, click State.
2 In the corresponding text boxes, enter the 2–letter abbreviations for the states that you want to include in the search. If you do not know them, use Lookup.
To clear the text boxes of all entries, click Clear All.
You can also select one or more regions in the United States consisting of several states and add all the states from these regions to the search at once. Note, however, that the states included in the regions are predefined and may differ from your interpretation of what states belong to a region.
1 Select regions that you want to include in the search.
2 Click Add Auto-Fill States. The state codes appear in the State table. You can manually delete them or add new codes.
