Search Workspace Overview
The search workspace in InfoBase ListDirect ensures flexibility during the search process. You can define search criteria (selections) in any order, review your selections, recalculate the results, get estimated cost, and make any changes to your search until you are satisfied with it and ready to save it, request a report, or place order.
A. Tabs representing selection types, for example, Additional Selections.
B. Selections or selection groups. The area can be empty if selections are not grouped within a tab.
C. Buttons for additional actions that can be applied to the selection or search, for example, Omit, Merge/Purge.
D. Main working area.
E. Recalculate button. Click it to see the number of records found for the current search. You can recalculate the search after each change.
F. Summary pane. Use it to view the selections you have included in the search and edit them.
G. Buttons enabling you to do the following:
• View your selection summary on one page
• Save your search
• View pricing for the current list and estimated order cost for the current search
• Request a count report
• Start placing an order
