Radius Band Report
Radius Band report breaks down records depending on their proximity to the center of the location (centroid). The report shows the number of records in a set of specific bands, which are areas within a certain distance interval from the centroid. For example, Band 1 covers all the addresses located within 0–3 miles from the centroid, Band 2—within 3–6 miles from the centroid, Band 3—within 6–9 miles from the centroid, and so on.
The number of bands and the band step (the distance that one band covers) are defined while setting the report parameters.
The system offers default report parameters. The number of default bands varies from 5 to 10 depending on the location radius length. If there are several locations in the count, the default settings are based on the location with the largest radius.
You can edit the default settings in the following ways:
• Change the number of bands
• Change the band step
• Add bands
• Delete bands
• Change boundaries for a certain band
For MLR counts, breakdown by band is made for each location.

2 On the Available Reports page, select Radius Band Report and click Next.
3 On the Report Delivery Options page, specify the e-mail address where you want the report to be sent. You can enter more than one e-mail address by separating each e-mail address with a semicolon ( ; ).
4 (Optional) If you want your name and pricing to appear on the report, select the corresponding check boxes.
Use this option with discretion, especially if you are sharing the reports with several levels of potential customers.
5 Select the output type of the report: HTML or Microsoft Excel document.
6 Edit the default band allocation if needed. You have the following options:
• To change the number of bands, enter the desired number in the corresponding field instead of the default value. Click Apply.
• To change the band step, enter the desired width of a band in miles in the corresponding field instead of the default value. Click Apply.
You cannot alter both the number of bands and the band step at once. Of the two fields, the one that you modified last before clicking Apply is taken into account.
• To restore the default band allocation, click Reset.
• To delete a band, click Delete.
• To set custom width (in miles) for each band, modify the corresponding values in the To column.
When you delete a band or manually set custom width for a band, the lower boundary of the adjacent band is automatically updated.
