Select Order Output Format
1 When placing an order, specify the order output delivery method. You have the following options:
• Internet Delivery. It means that you can download your order from the Download Orders page. For more information, see Download Orders.
• FTP Delivery. It means that you order is uploaded to an FTP server of your choice. For more information, see Retrieve Order From FTP.
It is not possible to select both Internet Delivery and FTP Delivery for an order.
2 In the File Format list, select one of the options:
• CSV (Excel)
• dBASE III
• ASCII fixed
• MSSQL DB
• MySQL DB
• Comma delim
• Custom delim
• XML
To view the examples of orders in different file formats, click View Sample. For more information on each format, see File Formats.
3 In the Letter Case list, select one of the options:
• Upper Case
• Upper/Lower Case
The United States Postal Service recommends all upper case for mailing labels.
4 In the Compression Type list, select one of the options:
• PC Executable (.EXE)
• ZIP Format (.ZIP)
Some anti-virus and anti-malware scanners or your company security settings may mistakenly report compressed executables (.exe) as viruses.
5 (Optional) To include column headers in the order, if available, select the Show headers in order check-box.
6 (Optional) To customize the order output layout, click the Special Layout link. For more information, see Special Layout.
7 (Optional) To view the price for the order delivery options, click the View Format Price List link.
8 Click Continue.
