About Suppression
Suppression is the process of removing unwanted records from the search. For example, you can exclude prospects from the upcoming campaigns, those who have already received similar mail or call, current customers, or non-responsive names.
When you run a search, you can suppress:
• Previous searches. For more information, see Suppressing Searches.
• Previous orders placed by you or another user in your company. For more information, see Suppressing Orders.
• You own file with data that you want to be removed from your search. For more information, see Custom Suppression.
You can group your previous orders and uploaded files (custom suppressions) into campaigns and suppress the whole campaign instead of selecting orders for suppression one by one. For more information, see Campaigns.
